This online course is for autistic adults, autistic young people and the parents of autistic children. You do not require a diagnosis of autism to take part. Our Making Sense of Autism course supports autistic adults, autistic young people and the parents of autistic children to deepen their understanding of how sensory processing works and how difficulties with sensory processing can be effectively addressed. When you book your place on the course, you gain access to a series of films and accompanying learning materials that cover topics such as sensory processing, self-regulation and co-regulation, as well as each of the individual sense systems (including the vestibular, proprioceptive and interoceptive senses, with which people are often unfamiliar). You then have a month in which to access the Making Sense of Autism films and learning materials, allowing you to learn in your own time and at your own pace. Duration: One month.
