Autism, sensory processing and food

• To explore key theories relating to eating, and the relationship with sensory processing and emotional regulation

• To consider sensory processing patterns and difficulties that may be associated with Autism, and how these might impact eating

• To review the importance of considering the family as a whole, and how this can shift our focus in providing support

• To discuss some practical advice and strategies which might be helpful, and create optimal opportunities for eating

Teas and coffees are provided but attendees need to bring something for their lunch. This course is delivered by our friends at Juniper Tree Therapy.
