About the Course
This one day event for professionals explores the multiple types of trauma that Autistic people may experience and is packed full of lived-experience, hands on activities, the latest research and best practice examples. The one day symposium is CPD accredited. Following the symposium, all participants can take a deep dive into Sensory Trauma, and Responsive Communication with 6 months access to our self-directed online CPD courses at no extra cost. The symposiums will be held in 4 venues across Wales.
Topics will include:
Language and the neurodiversity paradigm
Sensory processing, self- and co-regulation
Types of trauma
Communication and information processing
