Autism: A Guide for Grandparents

You may be wondering why we wrote a book for Grandparents. Readers of our Parent's Guide frequently purchased a copy for their own parents and we felt a guide just for Grandparents was needed. This is because Grandparents can play an important role in their child and their grandchild's wellbeing and support. As you read this book you'll learn about ways to connect with your grandchild and you will be supported to understand some of the different ways Autistic people experience the world. We've included a question and answer section at the back of the book with some of the questions we are frequently asked.
All our work is created on a foundation of lived experience and includes the latest knowledge and research about sensory differences that we've gained through our professional, clinical and academic roles.
